Adapt literature by writing original stage scenes. Goal: To expose students to the process of adaptation by providing them with firsthand experience in reinventing literature for the stage. But when a playwright adapts something for the theatre, he’s doing much more than transcribing the dialogue from the source material he’s reinventing the story for the stage.
